The De Phillips Athletic Club will hold its annual Field Day June 27 at Bayside High School, where students will be able to mingle with professional athletes, elected officials and Mr. Met.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the athletic field of Bayside High School at 32-24 Corporal Kennedy St. in Bayside.
Attendees will be able to meet celebrity athletes, such as Yankees legend Roy White and former New York Giant Sean Landetta, as well as local elected officials and Mr. Met.
They will also be able to take part in sports activities.
The athletic club serves youth in Flushing, Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck and Whitestone.
