Cyclist’s ribs fractured with baseball bat: Post

BAYSIDE — A man viciously beat a cyclist with a bat in Bayside July 31, the New York Post reported.

According to the Post, Duane Snoddy, 47, climbed out of a parked car on 48th Avenue near 215th Place around 10 p.m. and attacked the cyclist, knocking him off his bike and then beating him, the Post reported.

The victim suffered a fractured spine and two fractured ribs and was transported to the hospital, the Post reported.

Snoddy was charged a short time later with assault and harassment, the Post reported.
