2 boro teens stole iPod from park-goer: Brown

JAMAICA — Two Jamaica teenagers were arrested after allegedly stealing from an individual sitting on a park bench in Jamaica Aug. 4, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

Romae Moody, 16, and Kenroy Martin, 17, were charged with robbery after they and an unapprehended juvenile allegedly surrounded the victim as he was sitting on a park bench at 235-20 147th Ave. so he could not leave, the DA said.

Moody allegedly told the victim to turn out his pockets and then made off with his iPod, according to the DA.

Moody and Martin are expected back in court Aug. 23.
