Robbers harm workers at Corona store: Police

CORONA — A group of men are wanted by the authorities for robbing a clothing store and injuring one of the workers nearly two weeks ago.

The incident took place at a store at 35th Avenue and Junction Boulevard Sept. 3 around 8:30 p.m., police said.

Six men entered the store and demanded two workers give them undisclosed merchandise, according to investigators.

While stealing the goods, one of the suspects struck one of the workers in the head, police said.

All of the men were described as black or Hispanic between 18 and 25 years old, investigators said.

One of the suspects was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds and seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with dark pants, according to police. Another was described as 6 feet tall, approximately 180 pounds and wearing a long sleeve white shirt with the number “9” on the back, and blue jeans with a blue cap, according to investigators.
