Man stabbed in the arm with an ice pick: Brown

OZONE PARK — An Ozone Park man was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment after he allegedly stabbed another man with an ice pick, a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

Ralphie Rivera, 26, of 95-15 80th St. in Ozone Park, allegedly attacked the victim in front of 79-17 Atlantic Ave. in Ozone Park at around 6:14 a.m. Sept. 13, according to the criminal complaint.

Rivera allegedly stabbed the man three times in the left forearm with an ice pick, causing bleeding and cuts to his left arm, the complaint said.

Rivera was arraigned Sept. 14 before Queens Criminal Court Judge Mary O’Donoghue, who released him on his own recognizance on charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, the spokeswoman said.
