Jamaica man harassed with baseball bat: Post

JAMAICA — A man wielding a bat allegedly chased another man out of his own home, according to the New York Post.

When the victim entered his basement apartment on 131st Street at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 18, he allegedly found Anthony Beharry, 28, of Brooklyn, and two other men inside the home, the Post reported from court papers.

Beharry allegedly threatened the victim, saying, “If you don’t get out of here tonight. I’m gonna kill you,” the Post reported.

He refused to leave, so Beharry left, allegedly returned moments later with a baseball bat and chased him down the street, warning him not to return, the Post reported.

The victim called police, who arrested Beharry and charged him with menacing and harassment, according to the Post.
