JAMAICA — Police were looking this week for a male teen who shot a police officer in the face with a paintball gun.
The police officer had responded to a call around 11:30 p.m. Saturday about a fight between a group of teenagers on Guy R. Brewer and Foch boulevards, according to the NYPD.
When he attempted to intervene, the teenager, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shot the police officer with a yellow paintball, police said.
