Liu, Meng and Cook picked for Cuomo transition team

Three Queens politicians were named to Gov.-elect Andrew Cuomo’s expansive transition team last week.

City Comptroller John Liu, who represented Flushing on the City Council for eight years, was named to his transition Committee on Economic Development and Labor, which will continue to advise the administration on fiscal and economic issues once Cuomo takes office.

State Assemblywomen Grace Meng (D-Flushing) and Vivian Cook (D-Jamaica) were both named to the Human Services and Housing transition committee.
