Police seek suspect in 7-Eleven robbery

BAYSIDE — Police are searching for an unidentified black man in connection with a robbery at the 7-11 store at 218-01 Northern Blvd.

The man, wearing a black ski mask, entered the store Monday at about 4:21 a.m. and displayed a black firearm while saying to an employee, “Give me the cash from the registers,” according to police.

The employee complied, giving the perpetrator, who was dressed in all-black clothing, $500 in cash, police said, after which the man fled westbound down Northern Boulevard on foot.

Police searched for the man but were unable to locate him.
