SOUTH RICHMOND HILL — A man from Elmhurst and another from Corona were charged last week with stripping the passenger side mirror off a BMW in South Richmond Hill, a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Nelson Arce, 23, of 92-29 Lamont Ave. in Elmhurst and Kerry Martinez, 23, of 111-15 39th Ave. in Corona, were arraigned Jan. 20 before Queens Criminal Court Judge Lenora Gerald on charges of possession of burglar’s tools, criminal mischief, petit larceny and auto stripping, the spokeswoman said. Both men were released on their own recognizance.
They allegedly stripped the passenger side mirror from a 2006 BMW parked in front of 104-20 104th St. in South Richmond Hill between 3:40 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., according to the criminal complaint.
