Man held after clocking bus driver: Brown

BAYSIDE — A Flushing man was ordered to undergo a psychiatric examination after being arrested for allegedly punching an MTA bus driver, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Around 8:35 p.m. Friday, Leonard Kim, 44, was riding on a city bus near the corner of Northern Boulevard and Francis Lewis Boulevard, when he allegedly punched the bus driver in the side of the head, the DA said. The bus did not crash, but Kim was apprehended and charged with assault, the DA said.

He was arraigned Saturday and ordered to be checked out, the DA said. Kim’s next court date is Feb. 11.
