Two men threatened with meat cleaver: Brown

JAMAICA — A 35-year-old Jamaica man was arraigned last week on charges of menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of harassment after he allegedly waved a meat cleaver at two other males at his residence, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

On March 6 at about 2:15 p.m., Michael McDonald of 171st Street near 140th Avenue allegedly went into his kitchen, grabbed a meat cleaver and raised it above his head at two other males, the DA’s office said. Police later found the meat cleaver under McDonald’s bed, the DA said.

McDonald was released on recognizance, the DA said. His next court date is May 2, the DA said.
