Cops look into death of man in Broad Channel

BROAD CHANNEL — A black man in his 30s was found dead along the shore line near 98th Street/Shad Creek Road near West 9th Road in Broad Channel last Thursday, the NYPD said.

Police responded to a call for a unconscious and unresponsive man around 7:26 a.m., and EMS who responded pronounced the victim dead on arrival, police said.

Both the police and the medical examiner are investigating the cause of the death, police said.
