Astoria couple disturbs patrons at eatery: DA

ASTORIA — A man and woman were arrested last week for allegedly causing a ruckus at the Mojave restaurant, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Eva Urzua, 44, and Rosalino Gonzalez, 42, both of Astoria, were arraigned on menacing, criminal trespass and harassment charges May 23 in the incident that took place the night before at the eatery, at 22-36 31st St., the DA’s office said.

The manager of Mojave said the pair entered the restaurant around 8:40 p.m., began cursing and refused to leave when requested, the criminal complaint said.

The manager and another employee tried to escort them out, but Urzua allegedly took a candleholder and held it above her head, according to the criminal complaint.

Gonzalez also held menus in his hand above Urzua’s head and continued to yell and curse, the complaint said.
