Today’s news:

U.N. must establish Mid-East peace

With all of the political turmoil and upheaval in the Middle East, when, if ever, will peace come to this region, which continues to be unstable?

The United Nations must take the lead to coordinate an intense international effort to attempt to bring all the opposing parties together to discuss how peace can be achieved. For too long this region of the world has been a virtual powder keg and has seen several conflicts.

Now it is critical that all efforts be made to bring a viable and long-lasting peace to the entire Middle East. The international community cannot afford to not do something with regard to this most critical and troubling issue.
