QUEENSBRIDGE — Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for a suspect suspected of robbing the driver of a livery cab near Queensbridge Houses.
At 1:10 a.m. May 24, a black man with a mustache and goatee about 6 feet tall entered a cab, then shortly afterward allegedly told the driver he forgot his money and asked him to return to near the residence of 41-15 Vernon Blvd. near Queensbridge, police said.
When the driver arrived, the man allegedly told the driver he had a gun and demanded his property, police said. After getting it, the man allegedly ran away and into a housing development, police said.
