An open letter to U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-Forest Hills):
As a constituent, I am, to say the least, disappointed at the lack of judgement you have shown concerning the sexting controversy. It begs the question: What the hell were you thinking?
Did you not learn anything from Bill Clinton?
No, it is not a crime to take a picture of yourself in your shorts and tweet it to a girl, but as a congressman, it is probably not a good idea — the same way it was probably not a good idea to have sex with an intern in the Oval Office.
You are obviously a smart guy, but like Clinton, this can take you down and it is what you will be remembered for.
Was it worth it?
