Man stole liquor bottle, no cash in Rego Park

REGO PARK — The NYPD was looking for a man who entered a Rego Park liquor store, threatened an employee with a knife and ran away with a liquor bottle after failing to force open the register.

Police said the crime occurred at 94-19 63rd Drive June 29 at about 2 p.m. The man is described as a white man with a shaved head and a goatee, age 29 to 32, 5-foot-1 to 5-foot-11 and weighing 200 pounds, police said. When he was last seen, the man wore a black T-shirt with white writing, tan shorts, white socks and sneakers, police said.
