Victim punched and stabbed in Flushing: DA

FLUSHING — A 23-year-old Flushing man was arraigned on charges of assault and harassment earlier this month after he allegedly attacked a 32-year-old man June 30, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Between 10:30 p.m. and 10:33 p.m., Mao Wang of 157th Street near 59th Avenue got into an argument with another man at 39th Avenue and Prince Street in Flushing, the DA said. Wang then allegedly stabbed him on the left shoulder and punched him in the face, causing bruising, swelling and pain, the DA said.

Wang’s next court date is Aug. 18, the DA said.
