Cop impersonator harasses driver: Brown

FRESH MEADOWS — A driver was charged with impersonating a police officer after a July 23 crash, according to the New York Post.

Edwin Rivera, 50, ran a red light at 185th Street and Union Turnpike at around 10:30 p.m. and then collided with another vehicle, the Post said.

When the other driver pulled into a parking lot to look at the damage, Rivera said: “I’m a f—— police officer. What are you going to do about it?” according to the Post.

Actual police officers arrested Rivera and charged him with harassment in addition to criminal impersonation, the Post said.
