RICHMOND HILL — A homeless man was murdered on a Richmond Hill street, according to police.

The man, whose name was not released, was found at about 8:16 p.m. after a 911 caller reported an unconscious man at 87-40 121st St., police said.

When police arrived at the scene, the man, who was in his 20s, was found to have suffered trauma wounds to his head, and emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene, police said. The death was ruled a homicide, police said.

Police said Tuesday afternoon that they had not made any arrests and did not have any suspects in connection with the murder.

The investigation was ongoing, police said.
