Cops seek two robbers of Maspeth tire shop

MASPETH — Police were searching for two men suspected of robbing the BP and L Brothers Tire Shop Aug. 25.

The NYPD said that around 1:25 a.m., the two men cut a hole in the side gate of the property and stole rims, tires and tools, then loaded them into a white van with unknown plates and fled.

The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 180 to 210 pounds, police said. When last seen, he was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds, police said. When last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
