A reputed St. Albans gang member was sentenced Friday to more than a dozen years behind bars for holding up a teen at gunpoint and taking his belongings, the Queens district attorney said.

Queens Supreme Court Justice Ronald D. Hollie ordered that Chris Price, 24, of 196th Street, be placed in prison for 12 1/2 years for his Dec. 9 conviction on second-degree robbery, DA Richard Brown said.

Prince, who was an alleged member of the Crips, robbed two 17-year-old boys at gunpoint during the early morning hours of April 12, 2008, according to the DA.

“The defendant is a social predator who has proven that he is a menace to society. With today’s sentence, the public can rest assured that the defendant will spend a lengthy time behind bars and no longer be a threat,” he said in a statement.

Around 3:30 a.m. that morning, Prince and Diego Lewis, 21, of Foch Boulevard in Jamaica, approached the victims at the corner of Rockaway Boulevard and 75th Street, the DA said. Price allegedly told one of the teens, “Don’t even think about running because I have stuff on me,” according to Brown.

The victim them removed his wallet, cell phone, keys and earrings before Price told him to walk up the block, Brown said. Lewis, who pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery in July, ordered the other teen to give up his phone, wallet and earrings, the DA said.

The two were arrested minutes later, according to Brown.

Prince’s sentence is to run concurrently with a seven-year sentence for robbing a 23-year-old deliveryman at gunpoint, the DA said. He was also ordered to have five years post-release supervision.

Lewis was also sentenced to four years in prison for the robbery and is serving out his prison term concurrently with a 10-year sentence for a conviction on assault.
