Today’s news:

Turner’s election a message to prez

TimesLedger Newspapers

Republican Bob Turner won the congressional seat in the 9th District against state Assemblyman David Weprin (D-Little Neck).

This district is 3-1 Democratic and covers parts of Queens and Brooklyn. Weprin lost because he did not understand the extent of the pain and dissatisfaction with the policies of President Barack Obama and his administration.

Obama’s policies do not work — just ask the 14 million people out of work. The voters have spoken and have sent a message to the president.

The message is we are mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore!
