Queens family held at gunpoint, robbed: DA

ROCHDALE — A man and an accomplice walked into a home and held a family at gunpoint Sept. 21, according to a spokeswoman for the Queens district attorney’s office.

Anthony Alston, 23, walked into a residence with another suspect, at 157-11 North Conduit Ave., at about 6 p.m. and pointed a handgun at the chest of a woman, the spokeswoman said.

Alston and the suspect ordered the woman and two others into the living room, where Alston said he would shoot the woman if anyone moved, the spokeswoman said.

Alston and the other suspect grabbed jewelry, cash, a camera and a phone before fleeing, the spokeswoman said.

He was charged with burglary and robbery, according to the DA.
