~OZONE PARK — A woman was mugged in the middle of the afternoon three weeks ago, police said.
The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16 near 87th Street, where the 21-year-old victim was approached by a man with a gun, police said.
The suspect demanded that the woman give him everything she had on her and the victim gave up cash, jewelry, her cell phone and iPod, according to investigators.
The suspect, described as a black man between 22 and 28 years old, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 tall, weighing approximately 130 to 150 pounds and seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark jeans and a black baseball hat, fled the scene, police said.
