MANHATTAN — Police arrested an Elmhurst man who they say sexually abused a straphanger more than two weeks ago.

Froylan Andrade, of Ithica Street, was charged by police with sex abuse, investigators said.

Around 9:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at the Union Square station in Manhattan, Andrade allegedly lifted up a 19-year-old girl’s dress and grabbed her buttocks and private area, according to police.

The victim was able to take a picture of Andrade as he entered the No. 6 train and gave it to police, said authorities.
