Rockaway Beach resident dead from gunshot: Cops

FAR ROCKAWAY — Police said Sean Mack, a Rockaway Beach resident, was found in Far Rockaway early Sunday morning with a gunshot wound to his lower torso and was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

Mack, who lives at Beach Channel Drive and Beach 84th Street, was found on Gateway Boulevard between New Haven and Brookhaven avenues.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
