Queens woman unlawfully took baby girl: Police

MANHATTAN — A Forest Hills woman was arrested last week on charges she took away an infant girl she was baby-sitting in Manhattan.

Beatriz Rios, 46, of 64-34 102nd St. in Forest Hills, was charged with unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and failure to exercise control of a minor, police said.

Both Rios and 17-month-old Annabelle Ceria were declared missing Nov. 30 and last seen at the girl’s Manhattan home around 9:30 a.m. by the girl’s parents.

Later in the day, the girl was returned home in good condition, police said.

After an investigation, police charged Rios with the crimes.
