Three boro residents beat up straphanger: DA

FOREST HILLS — Three straphangers were arrested last week for allegedly trying to mug another train rider during an early morning ride, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Keiven Permannd, 17, of Richmond Hill; Heeranarine Jangbahdoor, 21, of Jamaica; and Ravindra Ramroop, 19, of Richmond Hill were arraigned Feb. 15, on attempted robbery and assault charges, according to the DA’s office.

The three approached the victim while they were all on a train that was traveling eastbound between Jackson Heights and Forest Hills around 3 a.m. that morning, the criminal complaint said.

They allegedly demanded that the victim give up his cell phone and beat him when he did not comply, according to the criminal complaint.
