Electronics swiped from Astoria apartment: NYPD

ASTORIA — Police are seeking information about a burglary of electronics from an Astoria apartment on Jan. 19.

According to police, laptop computers, iPods, jewelry and a debit card were stolen from a second-floor apartment on 33rd Ave. near 23rd St. sometime between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

At about 3:30 p.m., an unidentified woman allegedly tried to use the stolen debit card at a pharmacy in the Bronx. The card was declined, and the woman left the store, according to police.
