Man, 65, dies after car strikes him in Murray Hill

MURRAY HILL — An unidentified 65-year-old man was hit by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of 149th Street and 45th Avenue in Murray Hill last Thursday and later died, police said.

Authorities said the man was hit by an unknown vehicle at 8:12 p.m. driving southbound while the man was walking east. The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene and the man was brought to New York Hospital Queens, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

As of TimesLedger Newspapers’ Tuesday afternoon press time, no arrests had been made, the NYPD said.
