Cops need people’s help to ID boro bank robber

HOWARD BEACH — The NYPD was looking for the public’s help in identifying one man wanted in connection to a bank robbery within the 106th precinct.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his 30s, standing at about 5-foot-8 with a black jacket, white shirt, sunglasses and a black hat. According to reports, he handed a teller a note demanding money at the Citibank, at 156-19 Cross Bay Blvd., March 3 around 1:30 p.m. The teller complied and the suspect left the bank with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
