Police have Queens suspect in two rapes

BROOKLYN — Police said they arrested a Cambria Heights man who was wanted in connection with two rapes in Brooklyn.

Cops said they arrested 19-year-old Anthony Moore, of 216-33 113th Drive, April 20.

He was charged with rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse, unlawful imprisonment, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, forcible touching and harassment in connection with an April 9 incident, when he allegedly forced himself upon a female victim and raped her within the confines of Brooklyn’s 81st Precinct, police said.

He was also charged with unlawful imprisonment, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment in connection with another incident April 9, when he allegedly followed a victim into her apartment building and attempted to rape her within the confines of Brooklyn’s 73rd Precinct before she was able to escape.

In both incidents, police said, Moore was armed with a hammer.
