Question boro Dems, not Lancman

I find Bob Friedrich’s column about state Assemblyman Rory Lancman (D-Fresh Meadows) misleading (“Lancman attack on Queens Dem machine rings hollow,” May 3-9). Lancman’s criticism of the Queens Democratic Party is based upon the previous action of the party.

When Barry Grodenchik ran for re-election as assemblyman, Assemblywoman Grace Meng (D-Flushing) and Ben Singer ran against him. He lost.

Does this sound familiar? Did Judaism have anything to do with it? Friedrich ought to look more carefully into the past actions of the Democratic Party.

There seems to be a lot missing when it comes to politics.
