ASTORIA — Police are looking for the man who allegedly extracted a laptop and dental equipment from a Steinway Street dentist earlier this month.

On May 4 at about 3:45 a.m., the man entered the office through an unlocked window before removing the items and fleeing, police said.

The man is described as a light-skinned, about 150 pounds and wearing dark jeans and a light-colored jacket with “USA 928” written on the back, police said.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
