Elderly man, 71, missing and sought by police

WOODHAVEN — The NYPD was looking for help in locating a missing man from Woodhaven within the 102nd Precinct, police said.

According to police, Ping-Hsing Ku, 71, of 86-13 94th St., was last seen inside his home Monday around 2 p.m. Police described him as being 5-foot-6, 145 pounds and with brown eyes and gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue and purple checkered, button-down shirt, tan pants, black shoes and a hat, police said.

The NYPD asks that anyone with information in regards to this case call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 and then entering TIP577.
