Queens will permanently become a little more connected to its neighbor after the Metropolitan Transportation Authority found some extra cash in its budget to pump into the G train, according to the city public advocate.

“Our message to the MTA was simple: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” said Public Advocate Bill de Blasio.

The G train is predominately a Brooklyn line, but runs from Kings County into Long Island City for two stops at 21st Street and Court Square, serving as one of a few connections to Brooklyn.

The MTA extended service on the line for five stops past its southern terminus in Brooklyn more than a year ago, but the city was considering axing the extended ride.

De Blasio set up a fan club for the stops called the “5-stop Fan Club” on Facebook to provide a venue for supporting the additional service.

“It looks like we’ve been heard,” he said.
