LONG ISLAND CITY — The NYPD was looking for help in finding a man wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred at a Long Island City sushi restaurant, police said.
The suspect entered through the rear of the Sushi X restaurant, at 47-15 Northern Blvd., around 10:40 p.m. July 6 and removed an unknown amount of food from the kitchen before fleeing, police said.
The suspect was described to be a black man between 30 and 40 years old with a thin build.
Anyone with information on the incidents was asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hot line at 1-800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
