Cops seek man in Best Buy grand larceny

ELMHURST — Police have asked for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in a grand larceny that occurred at the Elmhurst Best Buy on Queens Boulevard.

The suspect used a stolen credit card to purchase items around 5 p.m. Nov. 28. He is described as a 5 foot 10 inch-tall, 20-year-old male weighing approximately 175 pounds and was wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and gray and white sneakers at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging on to Crime Stoppers’ web site at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
