Police search for man wielding knife: 109th

WHITESTONE — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for menacing in relation to a June 12 incident that occurred in the confines of the 109th Precinct.

At about 1 a.m., Waldemar Pedzik, 43, was inside 151-10 10 Ave. when he placed a knife to the chest of a 45-year-old female and threatened to kill her, according to police.

Pedzik is described as a white man, according to police, who released a photo of the suspect.

They SHOULD get the public's help. The 1-0-9 detective unit couldn't solve a crime if the criminal walked into the front door bloody and with a knife in his hand in one hand, dragging a stab victim with the other!

I agree, Charlie. I believe the 109th precinct leaves a lot to be desired. My father was clubbed over the head at 6th Avenue near Clintonville.

The 109 did very little, were slow, and honestly not very competent. My father died from his injuries one year later.
