No boon for boondocks reference

In your July 19-25 Flushing Times editorial “Rethink Willets Point,” you take issue with my reference to Aqueduct and Willets Point as the “boondocks.”

You are correct to do so. In retrospect, the word was uncalled for and not necessary for the point I was making.

I do wish to thank you for having made this clear.
