Groper in Forest Park being hunted by police

FOREST PARK — Police were asking for the public’s help in locating an alleged Forest Park groper.

The suspect, described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 35, approached his alleged victim Aug. 15 inside Forest Park and pushed her to the ground and forcibly touched her, police said.

Police said the suspect is between 5 feet 6 inches tall and 6 feet tall with blonde hair. He was seen wearing a black T-shirt, black baseball cap and dark-colored basketball shorts, cops said.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
