Cops need public’s help to find three robbers

WOODSIDE — The NYPD was asking for the public’s assistance in locating three young men wanted in connection with a strong-arm robbery last week in Woodside.

The three men approached and allegedly assaulted their 40-year-old victim Aug. 19 around 3:50 a.m. in front of 41-26 71st St., police said, before making off with two cellphones and a wallet.

All three suspects were described as white or Hispanic males between the ages of 15 and 18, cops said.

Suspect 1 stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, cops said. Police said he has long black hair and was wearing a white T-shirt with a graphic on the front and blue jean shorts.

Police said that after the alleged attack, he returned to retrieve his skateboard.

The second suspect was described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a baseball cap and blue jeans.

No further information was given on the third suspect.
