South Jamaica boy missing since Sunday

SOUTH JAMAICA — The NYPD was asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 11-year old boy.

Police said Qwame Mitchel was last seen Sunday around 6 p.m. at 150-49 119th Road.

He is described as a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches and weighing 145 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a chipped front tooth. He was last seen wearing black cargo shorts, a black T shirt and black Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to this missing male is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers web site at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
