Remember Me Run: St. Michael’s is holding a “Remember Me Run” to support the children of those who died from working on the 9/11 World Trade Center pile. There is a $25 fee per participant, but children 10 and under can participate for free. Make all checks payable to the Christopher Santora Scholarship Fund, which was started by Santora’s parents, who lost their son on 9/11 and decided to turn their “mourning into dancing” by creating this fund.

When: Saturday, Sept. 8, 2 p.m. with registration at 10 a.m.

Day of Remembrance: It will be held in Glendale honoring those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attack, with a portion dedicated to those who resided in Glendale, Ridgewood, Middle Village and Maspeth.

September 11 Remembrance Concert: A musical, poetry, and tribute program is scheduled to be held in the garden of the Poppenhusen Institute.

11th Annual Blood Drive: Local 338 will host its annual blood drive in honor of those lost Sept. 11, 2001.
