Man, 25, hurt in Corona hit-and-run

CORONA — A man was critically injured over the weekend after falling victim to a hit-and-run accident in Corona, the NYPD said.

According to police, a Nissan Maxima struck a 25-year-old pedestrian around 11:40 p.m. Friday on Northern Boulevard, near 102nd Street, before fleeing the scene. No arrests have been made, the NYPD said.

The victim was taken to nearby Elmhurst Hospital and remained in critical condition, police said.
