Jamaica cafe to host Sandy benefit
By Rich Bockmann

A vegetarian cafe in Jamaica run on the principals of a late Indian spiritual leader is planning to host a night of music to benefit the victims of Superstorm Sandy.

The benefit concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Nov 18 at the Panorama of My Silence Heart Cafe and will feature the music of Jason Waters, Paul Payabyab, Chris Pizzolo and Jason Lapin.

The cafe, at 84-73 Parsons Blvd. is inspired by the philosophy of poet and spiritual leader Sri Chinmoy, who made his home just a few blocks away in Jamaica.
