Teen missing from home in Whitestone: Police

WHITESTONE — Police were asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 16-year-old.

Cops said Natasha Almonte was last seen leaving her house Nov. 5 at around 9:30 a.m.

She is described as a Hispanic girl standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that there have been a rise in teenagers from Flushing, College Point, Jackson Hgts and now Whitestone missing? I hope they find these children soon.
