Police investigate Fresh Mdws. car fire

FRESH MEADOWS — Emergency officials responded to the scene of a car fire on 184th Street near the Long Island Expressway service road in Fresh Meadows at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, the Breaking News Network reported.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital to be treated for burns, and the fire did not appear to be started during an auto crash, officials at the scene said.
